Cabriolets were a mainstay of the 356 series, and just 587 were constructed for 1965.
As with previous years, the cabriolets were some of the most expensive of the 356s, largely due to their hand-crafted nature.
Like any 356, they are a pleasure to drive over long distances, their multi-layer top expertly designed to reduce noise and insulate from the outdoors.
The C's base engine was the 75hp engine of the 1600 Super, with the optional upgrade being the SC.
In addition, the C's torsion bars were slightly smaller in diameter for a better ride.
The exceptional 1965 Porsche 356 C 1600 Cabriolet featured here is finished in stunning Signal Red over a Black leather interior with a matching folding convertible top.
This exquisite 356 Cabriolet has been meticulously maintained and was subject to a no-expense-spared, show-level restoration and is now ready for its next caretaker.
With its matching numbers engine, low miles, and stunning color combination, this 356 is the perfect example to add to any premier collection.
