J.
Mulliner, design number 7504.
Introduced very late in Silver Cloud I production, the car quickly became one of the most desirable of the various coach-built Silver Clouds.
This continued with the introduction of the Silver Cloud II in September 1959.
The updated car came equipped with an all-new aluminum 6.
2L overhead-valve V8 and was offered in two wheelbases, with or without standard steel bodywork.
Production totaled around 2,782 examples, of which only 107 were made in Drophead Coupe configuration.
Of those, only 74 are known to have been made in left-hand drive.
Drophead Coupes were hand-built by H.
J.
Mulliner and showcase a distinctive, two-door profile.
Equipped with essentially every luxury feature as standard, celebrities and wealthy business owners who could afford the privilege found the cars to be essentially without equal, combining the traditional Rolls-Royce ride with open-air driving pleasure.
The Silver Cloud II's V8 ensured performance was more than adequate, with power brakes and steering ensuring the driving experience is exceptional.
The sensational 1962 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II Drophead Coupe featured here is finished in gorgeous Sand Beige Metallic over a Light Tan Connolly leather interior with hand-finished Burled Walnut woodwork and a Brown power-folding convertible top.
This exquisite Rolls-Royce features numerous features such as power windows, power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning, ensuring it is exceptionally easy to drive.
Furthermore, this vehicle received an incredible restoration which still presents marvellously, and was subject to a recent service to bring it to its current condition.
Because of its superlative condition and exceptional rarity, I personally believe the investment potential of this iconic Rolls-Royce will grow beyond your imagination.
Given how few were produced and how rarely one of this caliber comes to market, this Silver Cloud II Drophead Coupe represents an incredible opportunity for the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires the very best to acquire one of the most sought-after and desirable Rolls-Royce Silver Clouds ever produced.
