K-CODE HIGH-PERFORMANCE 289CI V8 SHELBY EXCLUSIVE 10-SPOKE ALLOY WHEELS GRILL MOUNTED DRIVING LAMPS HOOD PINS THREE SPEED AUTOMATIC AM/FM STEREO After the impressive success of the original Shelby GT350, it was no surprise when the model continued even as the regular Mustangs grew in power and performance, especially considering Ford had taken over Shelby's engineering department.
Now available in small-block GT350 and big-block GT500 variants, the Shelby Mustangs stood apart from standard models with special bodywork and suspension tuning.
Like the Ford models, Shelbys could be purchased with various luxury or sporting options, depending on buyer preference.
A notable element of early 1967 Shelbys is a pair of red marker lights mounted in the scoops along the top of the rear sail panels.
These lights were quickly ruled illegal in several states, though not before 200 or so Mustangs had been shipped from Shelby American's Los Angeles factory.
As with any rarity, cars with these lights are valued more highly simply for the interesting tale of their existence.
Of course, any Shelby Mustang is not only a collectible but a joy to drive.
The incredible 1967 Shelby GT350 Fastback featured here is finished in gorgeous Lime Gold Metallic over a Black interior.
This motorcar was ordered new by former CEO of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Jack Taylor, and later sold to its second owner who cared for it for the last 50 years.
We are extremely proud to offer this survivor example of one of Shelby's greatest creations to its next caretaker.
Because of its originality, I personally the potential of this iconic model will grow beyond your imagination! This Shelby GT350 is offered to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who appreciates its originality and exceptional provenance!.
