Clinical Operations Consultant (Home Health and Hospice)

_What Clinical Operations contributes to Cardinal Health_
Clinical Operations is responsible for supporting the timely and quality sale, installation and monitoring of Cardinal Health products and services may also provide product and service education to facilitate technology adoption and workflow change management\.
The Clinical Operations Consultant will have the primary responsibilities of supporting the goals and the clinical direction of the organization, while at the same time providing client support and guidance to our home care and hospice agency partners\. The job requires analytical evaluation of client medical supply formularies and supply ordering patterns, as well as additional proactive communication of observations and recommendations to our business partners\. The position requires the ability to build strong relationships with customers, and internal collaboration with the various individuals and departments involved within our organization\. This position reports directly to the Manager of Clinical Services, and is part of the Home Healthcare Solutions channel of Cardinal Health at\-Home\.
_Accountabilities_
+ Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of relevant clinical operations, products and services
+ Influences customer decision to purchase new products and services
+ Leads the post\-sales assessment, design, implementation and monitoring of new products and services in multi\-site and/or complex environments
+ Develops, plans and manages customer training programs in multi\-site and/or complex environments
+ Serves as lead consultant and resource to internal and external customers in multi\-site and/or complex environments
+ Mentors internal staff regarding best demonstrated practices
+ Significantly influences customer acceptance and utilization of new products and services in multi\-site and/or complex environments
+ Initiates discussion to obtain in\-depth customer feedback for product and service improvement opportunities
+ Work closely with the sales team in preparing clinically\-related information and guidance for and during the sales process
+ Deliver insight and action plans around the _Care Essentials_ Dashboard
+ Review monthly reports to ensure that accounts are meeting their financial goals, appropriately utilizing product lines, and adhering to supply formularies as needed
+ Articulate the correlation between product choice and utilization with the financial performance of the agency\.
+ Work closely with Account Management Team in coordinating/ allocating agency needs and retaining and maintaining current customer base\.
+ Provide quarterly contact with agency key clinical contacts at key agencies assigned
+ Participate in agency committee work\.
+ Identify and suggest changes in customer ordering practices, while adhering to clinical guidelines\.
+ Assist in the formulary and Mobile Supply Closet? build process for new clients as needed
+ Assist with the creation/development of protocols related to wound, ostomy, skin, incontinence care
+ Identify opportunities for scripting case studies, white papers, best practices clinically sound and evidence based\.
+ Participate in local, regional, national conferences and forums related to Home Health, Hospice and clinical practice\.
+ Work closely with the sales team to demonstrate our commitment to clinical support to prospective accounts, which will involve periodic participation in meetings or calls\.
+ Work with the Manager of Clinical Services to develop and maintain internal and external relationships with the manufacturers and internal product managers on product advancements wound care technology and identify product solutions for Home Health and Hospice
+ Collaborate with vendor partners for education and support at the agency level\.
+ Understand the goals of the clinical program for HHS, contribute to the vision and participate in the plan of action to ensure the continued evolution of our clinical value to our clients\.
+ Have a clear understanding of Medicare guidelines that are specific to home health and hospice supply reimbursement, understand the impact of managed care and Medicaid payer sources on supply management
+ Contribute to ongoing development and content for our _eClinical Learning_ ? program
+ Understand and identify Cardinal brand options and applications to meet the agency needs\.
_Qualifications_
+ Undergrad degree in nursing required
+ Advanced degree preferred
+ 3\-5 years of experience in the nursing field required
+ Experience in Home Health and/or Hospice required
+ Experience in business operations, marketing, sales, or account management preferred
+ Ability to travel at least 25%

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
