What We're Looking For:
The Business Travel/Group Sales Agent is responsible for representing a national portfolio of extended stay hotels; its services, facilities and locations, to corporate and business travel clients. What YOU can expect:
The Business Travel/Group Sales Agent is responsible for providing excellent customer service and building customer loyalty through the courteous, efficient handling of customer interactions (phone, email, chat, etc...) according to our Client's brand guidelines and requirements. Specifically, you would be responsible for;
Essential Functions:
Respond to sales inquiries from business and corporate clients and customers seeking hotel accommodations.
Maintain relationships with prior clients and customers.
Initiate new sales, prospect and qualify leads, solicit new clients and customers.
Provide consultative sales strategy to determine client and customer needs, build rapport and provide solutions based on current product and service offerings, seizing opportunities to "upsell" when available
Conduct follow up outbound phone calls as necessary
Provide superior customer service to a wide variety of customers with a pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude
Requirements and Qualifications:
Possess excellent written and verbal English communication skills, demonstrated by consistent use of proper and professional language to include tone, diction, pace, enunciation, and avoidance of slang.
Ability to think quickly, overcome objections and close sales opportunities.
Proficiency with standard office technologies, including Microsoft 365, MS Word, Excel, web browsers, email, electronic calendar, instant messaging, information sourcing, etc.
Ability to navigate computer software and websites as necessary without third party assistance.
Customer service and/or sales experience preferred; Call center experience is a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
