Purchasing Assistant

Beacon Hill Financial is currently working with a client in St. Louis, MO to fill a temp to perm Purchasing Assistant position. The responsibilities for the Purchasing Assistant are as follows:


Execute Purchase Orders for goods and services in SAP with Suppliers
Provide a high level of customer service to stakeholders
Conduct follow-up with suppliers to ensure receipt of Purchase Orders
Expedite delivery of goods and services to support business owners requirements
Resolve receipt and invoice discrepancies
Tactfully explains and enforces internal policies and procedures as necessary
Back-up other Purchasing Assistants as needed
Required Skills & Experience for the Purchasing Assistant position are below:
Excellent customer service skills
Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Bachelor's Degree in a business related field or at least 8 years of experience.
Knowledge of SAP preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
