Medical Billing Department Supervisor (6487-147)

Supervise the workflow for billing while ensuring staff is meeting deadlines and established goals. Assists with the daily billing, electronic claims submissions, and reporting. Works with staff and facilities to resolve issues. Ensures coverage based on workload and reassigning work as needed. Assists staff and facilities with month end balancing and month end close problems. Assists with the implementation of policy and procedures for new processes. Assists with developing training material for new personnel/processes. Works closely with facility managers.
Required Skills
High School diploma or equivalent. Some College preferred. Entry level management position which requires minimum of 5 years healthcare billing and management experience. Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes and ICD 10 codes preferred. Accounting, math, and reasoning skills. Ability to multi-task and problem solve. People and communication skills. Positive attitude. Is a team player. Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties. Forty-five (45) spm typing skills required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. her facility managers.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
